Currently, Kristen holds the role of General manager at Bethel Farm and serves as the secretary on the board of directors for the recently established nonprofit organization.

Kristen Estey moved to Bethel Farm in 1998 where she quickly developed a strong affinity for Steve Bethel and the nurturing atmosphere of the place. Together, they envisioned a way to share their deepening yoga practice and holistic lifestyle with others. As a result, the farm has transformed into a thriving Yoga and Living Arts Center with a continuously evolving mission.
In 2005, Kristen attended a workshop with David Swenson to learn the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga. She furthered her training by participating in yoga teacher training immersions in the Jivamukti style at Bethel Farm, and in 2018 obtained a 200-hour teacher training certificate from Sadhana Yoga school. Additionally, Kristen became a licensed massage therapist in 2014.
Continuing to expand her knowledge and expertise, Kristen has acquired continuing education hours in Somatic Experiencing (SE) through the Trauma Institute, and has received a certificate in Cancer, Trauma, Presence and Touch. She dedicated several years to working in the palliative care department at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon, NH, offering massage and Reiki to patients. Kristen  also  spent some time involved with the non-profit organization, Hand to Heart project, which provides in-home massage therapy for individuals with cancer.
