Friday Night Lecture with Ruth Lauer Manenti from 7 pm – 9 pm.
Trying to have a problem free life is unrealistic and not the goal of yoga.
Also, if you want to solve your problems before deepening your spiritual practice you’ll wait a long time.
Therefore utilizing our problems to bring out the best in ourselves is the way of the spiritual practitioner.
In the Bhagavad Gita we find lists of qualities (gunas) or attitudes that lead to peace of mind and can be cultivated through out the ups and downs of life.
For a discussion on these attitudes as well as singing the verses from the Gita text please attend this lecture. Open to all levels.
