Yoga Journey Summer Camp

Daily Schedule

  • One  hour yoga class
  • Snack break (byo snack)
  • Nature walk
  • Reflective journaling
  • Lunch break (byo lunch)
  • Yoga-themed art activity
  • Swimming in the pond

Yoga benefits children by: improving concentration, focus and attention; increasing strength and flexibility; improving balance and coordination; aiding in sleep and digestion; improving overall attitudes; improving immune system function; teaching them to calm their mind and body and find peace within themselves no matter what is going on around them.

Themes of yoga are explored such as: practicing peace, practicing generosity, being honest, self-care and care for others, being content, practicing moderation, working hard, and having alone time.
